Mô tả công việc


Under the general guidance and supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager and within limits of the established SAIGON PRINCE Policies and Procedures, oversees and directs all aspects of the Grill Restaurant and the Bar.


1. Supervises day-to-day function of the restaurant and the bar employees, facilities, sales and costs.

2. Controls on an on-going basis the followings:

- Quality level of the product and service

- Guest satisfaction

- Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the outlet.

- Ensures optimum performance in each of the above areas.

3. Supervises, co-ordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverage in the restaurant and the bar.

4. Check that menus/lists/event orders are properly maintained.

5. Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager, conducts such functions as employee orientation, on-the-job performance appraisal, coaching and ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.

6. Attends and contributes to the Food & Beverage Department meetings.

7. Conducts pre-meal/functions briefings.

8. Participates in service as necessary in accordance with the requirements and practices of the outlets and inform staff of daily event specialties, functions and potential difficulties.

9. Schedules guest's reservations and arranges group functions.

10. Controls stocks for daily use of the outlet to ensure service requirements are met.

11. Develops formal training plans and conducts on-the-job training sessions for the restaurant and the bar employees.

12. Provides regular training sessions for the employees with well-prepared and interesting training contents and presentations.

13. Conducts all administrative work required including but not limited to:

- Attendance Records

- Training Records

- Duty Rosters

- Log Books

14. Ensures proper maintenance and control of all equipments in the restaurant and the bar.

15. Maintains SAIGON PRINCE HOTEL standards at all times.


15. Is aware of his/her work schedule and always gives adequate notice, should circumstances prevent him/her form adhering to that schedule.

16. Must at all times maintain privacy of hotel information.

17. Attend formal training courses and on-the-job training sessions conducted by the department and the hotel.

18. Ensure that personal grooming and hygiene standards are met as specified in the Employee Handbook.

19. Ensures full understanding of the hotel’s policies and regulations, health and occupational safety issues, Fire Emergency Procedure and other policies and procedures.

20. Perform all duties and responsibility in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve overall objectives of Restaurant Manager.

21. Performs any other related duties that may be assigned by Food & Beverage Manager from time to time.

22. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.

23. At all times project a favorable image of SAIGON PRINCE HOTEL to enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor.


Internal: Interacts professionally with the restaurant and kitchen staff

External: Interacts professionally with guests, colleagues from other properties

Yêu cầu công việc


Education: A diploma or degree qualification. Fluency in oral and written English

Experience: Previous hotel-related experience desired.


- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

- Good in planning, organizing and co-ordination

- Strong initiative and creative skills
